Turkic Countries to Create Common Media Association
The Turkic states and Turkic-speaking countries are planning to establish a common media association aimed at strengthening unity. This announcement was made by the chairman of Turkey's Radio and Television Supreme Council, Ebubekir Sahin, during a seminar in Budapest.
According to Anadolu, Sahin noted that the new international platform will be created "to further strengthen the unity of Turkic-speaking nations." He stated that Turkey aims to establish "important partnerships with brotherly countries united by a common culture and history" and also to popularize the Turkish language.
It is worth mentioning that on November 12, 2021, a summit of the Turkic Council was held in Istanbul, during which the organization’s name was changed to the Organization of Turkic States.
