Video: Residents Stunned as Snow Falls in Egypt

Snow has fallen on the streets of Alexandria, Egypt, located along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Egypt is currently experiencing the impact of a powerful European cyclone, as reported by RIA Novosti.

As a result of the cyclone, heavy rains have been reported in the northern part of the country, while dust storms have affected the central regions. In the area surrounding St. Catherine's Monastery in the Sinai Peninsula, temperatures dropped to -2 degrees Celsius overnight.

Residents of Alexandria were left in disbelief when they saw the snow-covered streets in the morning. However, the snow melted shortly after, leading to flooding in the streets. The heavy rains and snowfall have made traffic in Alexandria difficult.

According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, the bad weather is expected to persist for at least one more day.
