Suspect Arrested for Burglary of Aghvan Hovsepian's House: Details

As previously reported, Aghvan Hovsepian's house in Byurakan was burglarized today. In response to an inquiry from MediaHub.am, the police announced that the person who committed the theft has been arrested.

“On December 18 at 10:00 AM, a report was received by the police indicating that a burglary had occurred at one of the villas in Byurakan. The operational-investigative group that arrived at the scene discovered that between December 17 at 7:00 PM and December 18 at 10:00 AM, the perpetrators had gained entry to one of the villas on 3rd Street in the Byurakan community by opening a window using technical means. They stole alcoholic beverages and souvenirs.

Utilizing operational intelligence, a resident of Byurakan was apprehended on December 18 at 2:30 PM for committing the theft. During the preliminary investigation, he confessed to the burglary, simultaneously presenting the stolen alcoholic drinks and souvenirs from his home. He has been arrested. An investigation is underway.”
