European Union Approves Fifth COVID-19 Vaccine
The European Medicines Agency has approved the COVID-19 vaccine produced by the American company Novavax (commercially named Nuvaxovid). This information was reported on the regulator's website, as noted by Meduza.
Nuvaxovid is the first protein-based vaccine approved in Europe.
Once formally validated by the European Commission, EU countries will be able to use the vaccine.
