10 Returned Prisoners of War Interrogated

10 prisoners of war, who were repatriated from Azerbaijani captivity the day before, have been interrogated. This information was provided to 'Pastinfo' from the Investigative Committee, while refraining from answering whether some of them have been granted procedural status.

"Investigative and procedural actions are ongoing, and the Investigative Committee will issue an official statement later," the Committee stated in response to 'Pastinfo's' inquiry about the possibility of new arrests of the repatriated servicemen.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, with the mediation of the EU, 10 servicemen detained in Azerbaijan were repatriated. They were captured on November 16 from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. Earlier, the Investigative Committee had pressed charges against 5 of the previously repatriated prisoners, of whom 4 were detained, while one’s detention was rejected.
