Lydian Armenia Plans to Sell Rights for Amulsar Mine Operation
According to Ejc.am (the Economic Journalists' Club), Lydian Armenia is preparing to sell the operational rights for the Amulsar gold mine to a Russian company. The state is expected to receive a 20 percent stake from this deal, which will likely be managed by the Armenian government's 'State Interests Fund of Armenia.'
'By the way, this will not be the first case; Russian billionaire Roman Trotsenko, who became the owner of 60 percent of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, also gifted 25 percent of his shareholding to the government, which constitutes 15 percent of the entire company's equity capital,' the website noted.
