Bus Acquisition Could Not Happen Without Votes from 'My Step' and Daily Work of Hrachya Sargsyan

Despite the disagreement between the Government and the Yerevan Municipality regarding the brand of new buses (Zhongtong), a political decision has been made, and the 'My Step' faction has secured the minimum votes necessary for the acquisition of buses. This was announced by the 'My Step' faction.

In response to media reports about the boycott of the council meeting concerning the bus purchases, it has been clarified that despite the disagreements between the Government and the Municipality regarding the new buses, a political decision has been adopted, and the 'My Step' faction has provided the necessary votes for the acquisition.

The faction leader and secretary participated in that council meeting. Additionally, the government has returned 2.2 billion drams in VAT to the municipal government, and this November, the government approved a loan agreement from international partners for the purchase of 100 high-quality 12-meter buses for Yerevan.

The new candidate for mayor put forward by the 'My Step' faction, Hrachya Sargsyan, has coordinated the entire procurement process. Without the votes from 'My Step', support from the government, and the daily work of Hrachya Sargsyan, the acquisition of buses could not have occurred.
