Turkish Lira Hits Record Low Against Dollar at 15.7 Lira

The Turkish lira has set another record low, reaching 15.7 lira against one dollar. This information was reported by Prime.

It is noted that the latest drop occurred after the Central Bank's decision to reduce the interest rate. Earlier on Thursday, the Central Bank of Turkey decided to decrease the benchmark interest rate from 15% to 14%.

As of 19:00 Yerevan time, the Turkish currency depreciated to 15.7 lira to one dollar, a drop from the previous closing level of 14.79 lira to the dollar.
