New Record in the Decline of the Turkish Lira
The decline of the Turkish national currency continues. Today, one dollar was sold for 16.19 liras on online exchanges. This marks the lowest point recorded since the depreciation of the lira began.
Since the start of this year, the Turkish national currency has depreciated by more than two times. In January, the exchange rate was 7.3 liras per dollar. The lira is also falling against other currencies.
