Investigation Concluded: Exclusive Details on the Criminal Case of Aghvan Hovsepyan
The newspaper "Joghout" reports that the Anti-Corruption Committee has announced the conclusion of the investigation into the criminal case of former Prosecutor General of Armenia, Aghvan Hovsepyan. This information was confirmed in a conversation by his spokesperson, Erik Aleksanyan, who noted that the criminal case is fabricated.
Moreover, exclusive information has come to light for Armlur.am; former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) President and former Secretary of the Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan, as well as National Assembly deputies and other officials have been questioned in connection with the case. The names of these officials will be published shortly.
According to law enforcement, during his tenure, Hovsepyan legalized over 1.3 billion drams, participated in the management of several companies engaged in entrepreneurial activities, received a large bribe of 190 million drams, and embezzled property worth 800 million drams through fraud. In total, this amounts to approximately 4.58 million dollars.
