Fog, Black Ice. Situation on the Roads

The Road Department Foundation informs that as of December 17 at 22:10, light snow is falling in the regions of Aparan and Sisian, and in the Dilijan loop, while rain is observed in the regions of Masis, Artashat, Ararat, and Ashtarak.

There is fog on the highways of Maralik, Charencavan, Hrazdan, Sevan regions, and in the Meghri mountain pass, with visibility reduced to 20-50 meters.

In places, there is black ice on the Saravani mountain pass. The Vardenyats mountain pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers. Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and sanding operations on the roads.

All interstate and republican highways are open.
