Erdogan Has Quite Warm, Even Friendly Relations with Putin: Peskov
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has friendly relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which allows for dialogue and peaceful resolutions even amidst the most complex disagreements. This was announced today by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, during a broadcast on RTVI.
Peskov noted that there have been such instances regarding Syria, as well as during the "tragic moments" in bilateral relations not long ago.
The press secretary emphasized that despite certain controversies, Turkey is a "very important neighbor" for Russia, a partner in major projects, and a participant in the resolution of regional conflicts.
Peskov also addressed the economic relations between Russia and Turkey, stating that economic cooperation serves as a guarantee against political shocks. According to Peskov, Turkey has created globally competitive companies in a number of sectors that are establishing their place in the market.
