Abovyan Elects a New Community Mayor

Anewly elected council session took place in the Abovyan community of Kotayk Province. Eduard Babayan, the candidate from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), was elected as the community mayor.

In the local self-government elections held in Abovyan on December 5, the votes were distributed as follows: the Prosperous Armenia Party received 46.28%, the Civil Contract party took 36.65%, the Republic Party obtained 11.93%, and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation garnered 5.12%.

In the Abovyan community, BHK will have 13 mandates, the Civil Contract party will have 10, the Republic party will have 3, and the ARF will have 1.
