Minister Unaware of 'My Step' Faction's No-Confidence Motion Against Mayor

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Ashot Dzhazoyan, is unaware that the 'My Step' faction in the Yerevan City Council has initiated a no-confidence motion against Mayor Hayk Marutyan.

“I learned about this from you. I do not possess factual information, thus there is no need to express speculative opinions,” the minister stated.

The question of how he evaluates the mayor's performance unsettled the minister. “Please ask sector-specific questions. I do not consider myself an expert to evaluate the mayor’s work. First of all, on what scale are you asking? What metrics do you have for measurement, it’s not just about asking questions,” the minister remarked.
