Armenian Donor Provides Hope for Canadian Patient's Recovery

An Armenian donor has extended a helping hand to a Canadian patient suffering from leukemia.

The Ministry of Health reports that through international cooperation of Armenian bone marrow/stem cell donors searching for and recruiting suitable donors, an Armenian donor has assisted a Canadian patient in need of a stem cell transplant.

The donor, known as G.A., learned that the patient in Canada required a stem cell transplant for recovery and realized that he was compatible with the patient. With enthusiasm and willingness, he agreed to offer his assistance, resulting in the successful completion of the donor's stem cell collection phase. Therefore, the patient in Canada now has the opportunity to recover.
