Yerevan Municipality: 'There is no transportation, thank you' says citizens

'Yerevan Municipality, there is no transportation. Thank you,' wrote one social media user.

Another user reported, 'Bus number 38 has not been in service since 07:30, and passengers are waiting.'

User Rouzanna Shahinyan wrote, 'In the 21st century, on December 13 at 07:15, we are waiting for public transport at the Gayi-Moldovan intersection in the cold and dark. Many others at different stops are also waiting for transport early in the morning to reach work, sustain this country, earn money, pay taxes, and support the bureaucrats of the Yerevan Municipality and the National Assembly, who instead of thinking about the people, are involved in internal political squabbles, timely receiving bonuses while disregarding the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.'

Back in 2018-2019, Avrora News had approached the Yerevan Municipality. Here is their response: 'Regarding the change in the external lighting schedule, we inform you that keeping the city's external lighting network on until dawn is related to additional financial allocations, which are not planned by the municipality in the budgets of 'Yerkaghluys' LLC for 2018 and 2019.'
