After Washing, Made in Armenia Label Disappears, Revealing Made in Turkey

A member of the Facebook group "For Armenian" has raised an alarming concern: "I ordered linens under the guise of Uzbek fabric and Armenian sewing at a premium price. After several washes, the 'Made in Armenia' label washed off and what appeared underneath was made in Turkey. I was so pleased to finally find a manufacturer who could sew in just one day and delivered the linens so kindly, even though it was more expensive than usual. I intended to continue using this supplier, but now I see that the manufacturer thought I only needed this one set of linens for my life or was confident that the 'Made in Armenia' label wouldn’t wash off. Or perhaps, they simply didn't care about us. I am very offended, as I specifically called multiple times to confirm the authenticity of the product. I wish they had at least cut a bit of the label or done something—anything! On the other hand, I am relieved that they didn’t fake it to a greater extent, as I may have continued to buy from them indefinitely.

I hope they read this and feel some regret in their hearts. One more plea—selling Turkish products under the name of Armenians doesn’t have to be this deceptive. I now doubt everyone, and it seems I will have to start buying linens from manufacturers in other countries."
