300,000 People Left Armenia for Work in Russia in 2021, According to Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Uzbek migrants are the largest group among foreign nationals who traveled to Russia for work in 2021, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the first ten months, their number exceeded 3 million.
The second largest group comes from Tajikistan, with 1.6 million individuals, followed by Kyrgyzstan with more than 600,000 people.
In 2021, approximately 300,000 people left Armenia for work in Russia, while around 200,000 departed from Azerbaijan.
