While Yerevan Municipality Creates a Pine Grove on Saralanj Avenue, Newly Planted Trees Are Being Stolen

In recent months, with the active participation of Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan and the heads of the administrative districts, work aimed at restoring green areas has begun in the capital. Recently, the Yerevan Municipality planted over 100 pine trees on Saralanj Avenue, which will contribute to greening the area in the future.

Furthermore, the long-standing issue of irrigation water has finally been resolved. Unfortunately, there are citizens engaged in despicable activities. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on December 7, employees of the municipality’s non-profit organization for ‘Greening and Environmental Protection’ noticed during their patrol that several pine trees they had planted on Saralanj Avenue had been stolen.

An investigation has been initiated by the Central Police Department regarding this incident.
