Joe Biden Threatens Russia: NATO Troops to Be Deployed to Eastern European Countries
U.S. President Joe Biden will send additional forces to NATO's Eastern European countries in the event of a "Russian invasion of Ukraine," according to a statement posted on the White House website, reported by RIA Novosti.
The American leader stated that he has "made it very clear to Vladimir Putin" how devastating the economic repercussions would be for Russia if such an event occurs.
Biden is confident that such actions will not only have an effect on Moscow but will also change how other countries view it.
Recently, Kyiv and Western media have repeatedly accused Russia of planning an attack on Ukraine. Moscow has denied this repeatedly, emphasizing that such statements are only necessary as a pretext to bring more NATO troops to Russia's borders.
According to Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Russia is not planning any aggressive actions and is not preparing to attack anyone, and the movement of troops through its territory should not alarm anyone.
