Gunshots Resembling a Movie Scene in Yerevan: Over 10 Shell Casings Found at the Scene

Today, December 11, gunshots rang out in Yerevan. Around 2:30 PM, the Arabkir Police Department received a report that shots were fired near a multi-story building on Riga Street.

According to Shamshyan.com, patrol officers have secured the crime scene, and an investigative team from the Armenian Investigative Committee’s Arabkir Division, led by the division head, is currently conducting an examination.

Experts from the Forensic Expert Service of the RA Police are also working at the scene.

At the site, more than 10 shell casings from a submachine gun have been found, along with a Maybach vehicle bearing marks of gunfire.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Fortunately, initial reports indicate there are no injuries from the gunfire, but police and the investigative division are checking whether any injured citizens have been transported to hospitals.
