Conscription Soldier Arrested for Killing Fellow Soldier and Wounding Two Others

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has opened a criminal case under points 1 and 6 of Part 2 of Article 104 of the RA Criminal Code regarding the fatal shooting of conscription soldier Senik Ashoti Arzumanyan by another conscription soldier of the same military unit, as well as the wounding of two other conscription soldiers with gunfire. This information has been reported by the Investigative Committee.

On December 11, 2021, the aforementioned conscription soldier from the Ministry of Defense's military unit was arrested on suspicion of committing a crime provided for by points 1 and 6 of Part 2 of Article 104 of the RA Criminal Code.

The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
