42 Inmates Receiving Treatment for Coronavirus at Hospital; One Inmate Dies

Due to the coronavirus, 141 inmates and detainees have been tested and received treatment at the infectious department of the "Penitentiary Medical Center" unit known as the "Inmates' Hospital". As of today, 42 individuals are currently receiving treatment, according to a report from the Ministry of Justice.

Yesterday, the biological death of inmate A.H., born in 1967, was recorded at the "Saint Grigor Lusavorich" civil hospital. The inmate was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 11 of this year and was transferred to the "Saint Grigor Lusavorich" hospital on the same day.

In order to clarify the circumstances of the death, preparatory materials are being prepared, and a forensic medical examination has been appointed," the ministry's statement said.
