Prisoners Are No Longer Heroes: They Are Punished After Returning Home
The newspaper 'Jamanak' reports: 'Prisoners are no longer heroes; they are punished after returning home. According to reports received by ArmLur.am, new detentions are expected in the case of the soldiers who were captured on November 16. The Military Investigative Department of Armenia has submitted a request to the court to detain 3 more individuals. The boys who returned from captivity have been interrogated, after which the number of detentions has increased.
Let us recall that earlier, 'Jamanak' reported that 10 Armenian prisoners returned to Armenia on December 4 through the mediation of the Russian side and will be interrogated. Today, the court is expected to announce a decision that will clarify whether 5 individuals will be detained or not. Notably, according to the information we received, there is also a commander of a battalion among those to be detained.'
