Thieves Smash Glass to Rob Expensive Clothing Store in Yerevan, Causing Thousands of Dollars in Damage

Today, December 10, a theft occurred in Yerevan. Around 4:00 AM, the Malatia police department received a call reporting that the glass of the "Hovman" clothing store on Zoravar Andranik Street in the southwest neighborhood had been broken.

It was revealed that one of three masked individuals broke the store's door glass with a stone, entered inside, and stole clothing, while another stole money from the cash register before fleeing the scene. The Malatia police department is currently preparing materials on the incident.

According to G. Shamshyan, the store suffered damage amounting to several thousand dollars. The police are conducting necessary operational-investigative measures aimed at identifying the crime, the thieves, and the stolen goods. G. Shamshyan reports that the act of breaking the glass and robbing the store took only 20-25 seconds.
