Kurds Attack Turks, Turkish Side Reports Casualties

On December 9, a Turkish military unit conducting operations against the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) in Northern Iraq was suddenly attacked by PKK militants.

According to Kurdish ANF, the Kurdish fighters targeted the positions of the Turkish military unit located in the Zap region of Northern Iraq, resulting in the death of 8 Turkish soldiers.

It has been reported that the Kurdish militants seized a significant amount of ammunition during the attack.
