Minutes ago, the Ministry of Defense issued a statement that on December 10 at approximately 12:00, Azerbaijani military units launched an attack on Armenian combat positions located in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. As a result of the Armenian side's retaliatory actions, the adversary has been pushed back with human losses. The exchange of fire continues at this moment.

ArmDaily.am has contacted Vardan Margaryan, a member of the Vardenis Council, to find out what is currently happening in Gegharkunik. “Do you know how they shoot? It’s time for our guys to rotate, and the bread truck is supposed to go for the rotation, but they’re not allowing it, they’re keeping it under fire,” Margaryan said in an interview with the news outlet.

When asked whether return fire is being exchanged, he replied, “I can't say for sure, but it seems like it’s not being heard.”
