Tragic Morning Accident Occurs in Ararat Region: 1 Dead, 2 Injured

Today, on December 9, a tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 08:00, vehicles, including a Mitsubishi Colt and a Hyundai Tucson, collided on the road from Yerevan to Yeraskh near the beginning of the Vedi-Ararat city road, close to the village of Vosketa.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, one person died at the scene, while two others, who were first assisted by bystanders, received initial aid from the emergency medical team that promptly arrived from Vedi hospital, before being transferred to the medical center in Vedi.

The police and the investigative department of the Ararat region are working to identify the deceased, the drivers, and the injured parties. According to updates from the photojournalist, the deceased was a woman aged between 45 and 50 years.
