Soldier Injured, Condition Critically Serious: Ministry of Defense

On December 8, at approximately 23:50, preliminary reports suggest that a soldier from the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense, located in the southeastern direction of Armenia, was injured by gunfire from a fellow serviceman. Private Senik Arthur Sahakyan (born in 2003) was the injured soldier. His condition is assessed as critically serious.

An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. This information has been provided in a statement by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
