28-Year-Old Driver Hits Two Pedestrians with Suzuki; Doctors Struggle for Their Lives

On December 9, an accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 07:50, a 28-year-old resident of the Kotayk region, Davit H., struck two pedestrians in his Suzuki car on Yerevan Street in the city of Yeghvard. The victims, 46-year-old Hamesd G. and 59-year-old Grigor G., are also residents of Yeghvard.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene. The injured pedestrians received first aid on-site from doctors who arrived promptly from the Yeghvard hospital and were subsequently transported to the Armenia Medical Center in Yerevan. The driver later voluntarily reported to the Nayri police division.

By the investigator's order, the vehicle has been moved to the special area of the Nayri police division.
