Warning: The Adversary is Disseminating Armenian-Language Messages on Social Media - Do Not Send Video Messages Under Any Circumstances

Azerbaijani propaganda platforms are circulating Armenian-language messages on the internet, directed at the relatives of captured and missing Armenian servicemen. The propaganda text calls for sending video messages, applications, and letters to certain Azerbaijani electronic addresses, supposedly to establish contact with the captured individuals and return them. This is reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center.

We warn that the platforms distributing this message are part of the Azerbaijani propaganda system. Throughout the war and after, they have regularly published footage of the killing, torture, and maltreatment of Armenian servicemen. It is evident that now, taking advantage of the sensitivity of the issue in Armenia and presenting themselves as a humanitarian initiative, the Azerbaijani propaganda machine aims to acquire video messages and applications that will be used to carry out demoralizing and despair-inducing propaganda among the Armenian public.

We urge the citizens of the Republic of Armenia not to fall for the latest bait from the Azerbaijani propaganda machine and, under no circumstances, send video messages or applications.
