Unusual Rash in Children Infected with Omicron Strain

Children infected with the Omicron strain of the coronavirus may develop an unusual rash. This was reported by British doctor David Lloyd.

Lloyd emphasized that a small group of COVID-19 patients have always experienced rashes; however, according to him, “up to 15% of children with Omicron have unusual rashes.”

According to the doctor, they are gradually learning more about this variant of the virus. “Let’s hope this variant is not as deadly as Delta, and we can handle it. But yes, times are concerning,” concluded the specialist.
