Provocation Towards Armenian Positions: Azerbaijani Side Reports Casualty

Sources from the border village of Kut report that around midnight, Azerbaijani armed forces opened intense fire towards Armenian positions in the direction of Verin Shorja village. This was reported by the Infoteka24 Telegram channel. The Azerbaijani armed forces used mortars during the attack.

The Armenian side responded adequately to the Azerbaijani provocation.

Azerbaijani sources indicate that a serviceman was killed during the exchange of fire. The deceased has been identified as Asaf Aghayev.

Auroranews tried to obtain further confirmation from the Ministry of Defense but has not been successful as of yet.
