New details have emerged regarding the murder of Armen Asatryan, known as Lala, the brother of the infamous Don Pippo, according to ArmLur.am. The investigative body has arrested an individual accused of allegedly stealing a license plate and giving it to the suspected murderer so that he could commit the murder of Don Pippo's brother using the stolen plate.
According to our information, the accused denies the charges against him, claiming that he did not recognize Don Pippo's brother and did not assist in the execution of the murder. Furthermore, he asserts that he did not steal any license plate.
It is noteworthy that individuals involved in the case have suspicions that the investigative body may be heading in the wrong direction, raising serious doubts and prompting various questions. In particular, there are suspicions that such information was provided to mislead the course of the investigation, or that the prosecuting body has some vested interest in diverting the actual direction of the criminal case.
One fact remains clear: seven months have passed since the murder, yet it remains unsolved.
Recall that on May 31 of this year, the body of Armen Asatryan, known as Lala and the brother of Don Pippo, was discovered beneath the Zvartnoc Bridge in Ejmiadzin. Later, the Investigative Committee reported that the Fire Service had received a report regarding a burning Mitsubishi Pajero IO vehicle in the fields adjacent to the Zvartnoc neighborhood of Ejmiadzin, in which 13 fired cartridges of 5.45 caliber, one fired bullet, and an AKSU submachine gun with an empty magazine were found.
