Seized Assets of Seyran Ohanyan, His Wife, and Former Head of Serzh Sargsyan's Security Detail

The former Minister of Defense and current MP Seyran Ohanyan, along with his wife, Rouzanna Khachatryan, and Va chagan Ghazaryan, the former head of the security detail for former President Serzh Sargsyan, have had their assets seized. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office.

Specifically, the Prosecutor's Office investigated the legality of the assets acquired by these individuals and has invited them to the office to review the findings and present their positions.

Furthermore, the Prosecutor’s Office is also examining the legality of assets belonging to Levon Sargsyan, the brother of Serzh Sargsyan, who is wanted, as well as those of his daughter and son. Additionally, the assets of Arman Sahakyan, son of former Speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan, and former Minister of Environment Aram Harutyunyan are under scrutiny as well.

It is worth noting that on December 6, it was also reported that the Prosecutor General’s Office has filed a lawsuit for the confiscation of illegally acquired assets belonging to former police chief Vladimir Gasparyan and his family members.
