Relatives of Prisoners Blocked Shirak Regional Administration All Night

Last night, angered by the words of the Speaker of the National Assembly, over 40 parents of soldiers from Shirak region blocked the Shirak regional administration, demanding a meeting with the governor as well as the resignation of the National Assembly Speaker. They also obstructed central roads, according to hraparak.am.

They spent nearly the entire night in the yard of the regional administration, but no responsible person or authority attempted to engage in talks. We have learned that the protest will continue today, as the relatives of the prisoners are determined to head back to the regional administration with the same demands.
