I am inclined for us to come to our senses and shake ourselves off: Edmon Marukyan
Aliyev has once again made a statement demanding a specific deadline or day for the opening of the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor,' which, according to Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, has come as a surprise to the Armenian side. This was reported by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' party, on his Facebook page.
'Meanwhile, the ongoing domestic political events and discussions within the political system at even the highest levels do not strengthen the Armenian side in any way; on the contrary, they weaken our positions across the board, remaining in a divisive, destructive space and providing the enemy with greater opportunities to achieve its set goals. In our case, even our objectives are not clearly defined, let alone the possibility of succeeding in this disastrous, crumbling state. Are we not going to come to our senses? I am inclined for us to come to our senses, shake ourselves off, and get out of this situation so that we can succeed both on diplomatic platforms and on the ground,' wrote Marukyan.
