Emergency Incident in Gegharkunik: Opel Collides with Horse, Animal Dead and Passenger Hospitalized

On December 5, an emergency incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region, resulting in injuries.

According to shamshyan.com, at around 22:15, a 28-year-old resident of Gegharkunik, Gevorg G., driving his Opel car, struck a horse that was on the roadway at the 41-kilometer mark of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway. As a result, a passenger in the Opel, 55-year-old Lena G., also a resident of Gegharkunik, was taken to the 'Gavar' medical center with injuries.

The horse died as a result of the collision. Investigations are underway regarding the incident, and the police are working to identify the owner of the horse.
