Sputnik Light Vaccine to be Provided Free of Charge to Armenian Citizens
The Sputnik Light vaccine, produced in Armenia, will be provided free of charge to citizens of the Republic of Armenia. This was announced by the Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, at a press conference dedicated to the vaccine's production.
“The state will procure the vaccine using public funds and will distribute it to citizens for free, just like it does with other vaccines,” said the minister.
When asked whether it is possible that other vaccines may no longer be imported, the minister replied, “Our policy is to maintain a wide variety of vaccines in Armenia. No vaccine can replace all others.”
