Prosecutor's Office Received 24 Reports of Election Violations in Kotayk and Ararat
The Prosecutor's Office has received 24 reports regarding violations during local self-government elections in the Kotayk and Ararat regions. The reports primarily pertain to cases of vote buying and selling, obstruction of the exercise of voting rights, use of administrative resources, and multiple voting.
Some of the reports are currently under verification, while others are already in the pre-investigation stage.
On December 5, local self-government elections took place in 36 communities across 9 regions of Armenia. Voter turnout was recorded at 42.48%, with 472,528 people participating in the elections.
