Police Discover and Detain 25-Year-Old Citizen Wanted by Russia

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on December 5th, officers from the Yerevan division of the Republic of Armenia's police patrol service detained 25-year-old T. Papikyan, a resident of Yerevan, on Moscow Street in Yerevan.

It has been confirmed that the information received by the patrol service was accurate, as T. Papikyan has been wanted by the border guard service of North Ossetia, Russia, since August 2018.

Reports indicate that he was wanted under Article 322, Part 1 (self-justice) of the Criminal Code of Russia. The central police department has already informed the initiator of the wanted notice about Papikyan's detention.

T. Papikyan has since been released.
