Kind Grandfather: Details About the Man Found Dead in Northern Avenue

This morning in Yerevan, near the 'Dragon Garden' restaurant, the body of a man was discovered by garbage bins. An officer from the police’s patrol service noticed an elderly man collapsed in that area while performing duties.

The patrol officer called for an ambulance but attempted to provide first aid before the arrival of medical help. The officer observed that the man was not breathing and had no pulse. The ambulance crew later confirmed the man’s death.

The deceased was identified as 73-year-old R.G. According to preliminary information, he may have died of natural causes. A preliminary assessment by the medical examiner found no signs of violence on the body.

Witnesses at the scene told a reporter from 'Haykakan Zhamanak' that the 73-year-old man often collected bottles around the area. Residents recognized him, stating, 'He was a kind grandfather, always here.' They mentioned that just before the incident, he had gone to the spot again, likely to collect bottles.

Additionally, a parking attendant reported that in recent days, the man had frequently complained of feeling unwell, mentioning that his heart wasn't good.
