Why Levon Ter-Petrosyan Did Not Attend Vano Siradeghyan's Funeral and Wake

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, former president Levon Ter-Petrosyan did not attend the wake and funeral of former Minister of Internal Affairs, writer, and statesman Vano Siradeghyan. According to 24 News, doctors advised him to avoid crowded places.

Ter-Petrosyan had been infected with the coronavirus, news of which surfaced on April 14. His spokesperson, Arman Musinyan, confirmed this information.

Vano Siradeghyan's funeral was attended by Ter-Petrosyan's son, David. Siradeghyan passed away on October 15 at the age of 75. The news of the statesman's death was reported on October 16 by the website of the newspaper '4th Power', revealing that it was announced by Siradeghyan's family, including his son Khachatur Siradeghyan and his wife, Rouzan Tonoyan.

Yesterday, a wake for Siradeghyan was held at the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, and today his body was laid to rest in his homeland, the village of Koti in the Tavush region.
