Total Solar Eclipse to Occur Today
A total solar eclipse will take place on December 4, reports GazetaRu.
On this day, the maximum phase of the solar eclipse will occur with a magnitude of 1.037 at 10:34 Moscow time.
The eclipse will last for 1 minute and 54 seconds and will pass through a narrow band of the lunar shadow across Antarctica, according to a statement from the Moscow Planetarium.
Under favorable weather conditions, partial phases of the eclipse can be observed in Antarctica, Namibia, South Africa, and South America, as well as in the southern waters of the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans.
