Which Roads Are Closed? Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

The road from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Karih lake is closed.

Due to the danger of landslides, the road from the village of Zovuni to the gorge of Korea is temporarily closed in both directions.

The serpentine roads near Spitak are difficult for trucks to navigate.

On the stretch known as the Stepanavan serpentine of the Vanadzor-Tashir road, as well as on the Vanadzor-Dilijan and Tatev-Kapan roads, there are patches of black ice.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

As for Lars, according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open.
