Earthquake Felt in Norashen and Sarchapet Communities of Lori Province
On December 4, at 11:26 local time (07:26 GMT), a magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded by the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, with geographic coordinates at 41.23° North latitude and 43.97° East longitude. The epicenter was located approximately 18 km northeast of the village of Bavra, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the aftershocks in the epicentral area was registered at 3-4 points. The earthquake was felt in the territory of Armenia, particularly in the village of Bavra and in the Norashen and Sarchapet communities of Lori Province, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
