Major Car Accident on Isakov Avenue Near Police Academy Involving Volvo and Minibus, Injuries Reported

Today, on December 3, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 5:20 PM, on Isakov Avenue, adjacent to the Police Academy, a Volvo vehicle driven by 33-year-old Ara A. collided with a minibus operated by 60-year-old Zhora M. servicing the Ejmiadzin-Yerevan route number 205.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, four individuals were taken to various hospitals in Yerevan with injuries of varying degrees.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. A photojournalist reports that emergency medical teams promptly arrived on the scene to provide first aid to eight citizens, although they declined to be transported to the hospital.

Preliminary information indicates that the Volvo was at fault for the accident as it collided with the minibus that was traveling in the designated lane, and then continued and crashed into the concrete barriers set up for a new road construction.
