Strong Winds Tear Off Roof of Artik School No. 1 in Shirak

Today, December 1, an emergency incident occurred in the Shirak region. Around 1:15 PM, strong winds completely tore off the roof of School No. 1 in Artik and blew it aside.

According to shamshyan.com, a firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Artik rescue service arrived at the scene. Rescuers cordoned off the area.

In an interview with the site, the school principal, Varduhi Sahakyan, stated, “During the strong winds, classes were ongoing in the school, and it is fortunate that none of the students, teaching staff, or other employees were harmed.” Fortunately, initial reports indicate there are no injuries, and the extent of the damage is being assessed.
