From Now On, Employees Will Be Required to Take PCR Tests More Frequently: Ministry of Health Announcement
The Ministry of Health of Armenia has issued a statement indicating that, similar to the global situation, the epidemiological context regarding coronavirus disease in Armenia, influenced by circulating and periodically emerging new variants, necessitates changes in the sanitary-epidemiological rules in effect across the country.
According to international experience, it has been established that employees must present their employers with a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), no older than 72 hours, once every 7 days. Exceptions apply to fully vaccinated individuals, those vaccinated with a single dose, employees with documented absolute contraindications, pregnant women, employees under 18 years of age, as well as those who have previously been infected with COVID-19 within 90 days following their first positive PCR test result.
