Fire Breaks Out in Building in Stepanakert, Residents Evacuated

On November 30 at 23:45, the 911 call center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report, which was also relayed to the police department, indicating that a fire had erupted at 6a Hekimyan Street in the city of Stepanakert, with initial information suggesting that a residential house was ablaze.

The emergency service of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a firefighting team and an operational group from a rapid response unit were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire and assist the residents.

It was determined that the fire had originated in one of the apartments within the multi-story building at 6a Hekimyan Street. After conducting necessary reconnaissance, and alongside the containment of the fire, rescuers evacuated the residents from the entrance and moved them to a safe environment.

By 00:38, the fire had been fully extinguished. There were no individuals present in the burned apartment, and there were no reported injuries. Preliminary reports indicate that one room of a three-room apartment was partially burned. The State Fire and Technical Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting an investigation into the incident.
